Age
Seniors : You must be 19 years old or over on the Start date of your course to be in the Seniors group. There is no upper age limit to the Seniors course.
Juniors : You must be between 13 - 18 on the Start date of your course to be in the Juniors group.

To be accepted on our Seniors Two Year Acting Diploma Course, you are required to submit your application and take part in a group workshop and individual audition where you must perform a speech from any play or film of your choice. The speech must last no longer than 3 minutes. To be accepted on our Juniors course, you are only required to submit your application and take part in a group workshop followed by a short informal interview. Please note, Juniors do not need to prepare a speech for their audition. Please note all prospective students must be able to speak, read, and write in fluent english to gain a place on the course, as the course demands it. We advise prospective students to submit their applications early.
All applicants need not worry if they have never had the experience of auditioning or acting. An actor with no experience, but an invaluable source of raw talent, has a high chance of being accepted into the Academy.
People with the right attitude and enthusiasm will often be more appealing to us rather than someone with plenty of experience, so if you have both, it's a double blessing.

The Academy selects students primarily on their talent, and on the basis of their performance at the audition.

Applications for the September 2009, Two Year Acting Diploma Course auditions are now open. You must submit the application form either online, or by downloading a PDF format on our website or by post, by the stated deadline.
Applicants who are successful in gaining a place at the Academy will begin their studies on 26th September 2009 (Seniors), and 27th September 2009 (Juniors)
Audition Dates for Two Year Acting Diploma Course - Monday 24th August - Thursday 17th September.
Audition Fees for the Two Year Acting Diploma Course - GHC 20. Audition fees must be paid in cash on the day of your audition.
Audition Fees are non-refundable
The Application Deadline for the Two Year Acting Diploma Course is Monday 20th of August. Applications received after this date will not be looked at.
