DO YOU HAVE A CHILD AGED 6-17 YEARS OLD WHO IS INTERESTED IN PERFORMING ARTS? DO YOU WANT TO EXPAND THE CREATIVE SIDE OF YOUR CHILD TO MAKE THEM A MORE ROUNDED INDIVIDUAL? IF YOUR ANSWER IS YES TO ANY OF THESE QUESTIONS, THEN THIS SATURDAY AND SUNDAY SCHOOL FOR YOUNG AND TALENTED CHILDREN IS JUST THE THING YOU HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR! AT ACADEMY JUNIOR ACTORS, WE WILL NURTURE AND ENCOURAGE YOUR CHILD TO BE THE BEST PERFORMER THEY CAN BE! YOUR CHILDREN WILL RECEIVE COACHING IN SINGING, DANCING, ACTING. ONE TO ONE COACHING CLASSES FOR FILM & THEATRE NOW AVAILABLE!

Do you need help with Scenes, Monologues or a Play or Film you are auditioning for? Or do you just need help to get into character for a part, and work on a more in depth level?

Then come along to one of these classes where you will get ONE TO ONE tutorials on any area you wish to work on. Not only that, you will learn the Do's and Don'ts for when attending an audition and much more. There will be One to One Coaching and Acting Coaching Classes all through the year, so please keep watching this space for more info.

The Price for a 1 Hour One to One lesson is GHC 20. All Payment is due in cash on arrival to your class.

To book a day and time please ring or e-mail the Academy stating you want to book your One to One Acting Coaching class and state your preferred time and date.

There are 3 terms in Year One, each term lasting 13 weeks.

This makes a total of 39 weeks for the First Academic Year. Classes are taught once a week every Saturday, with classes lasting 3 hours. There is also an option for Drop In Classes all throughout the week from Monday to Friday.

The Term Dates for the First Year for the Senior actors are as follows :

1st Term (Lasting a 13 week Period)
Starts : (Saturday 26th September 2009) Ends: (Saturday 19th December 2009)

Half Term : Sunday 20th December 2009 - Friday 1st January 2010

2nd Term (Lasting a 13 week Period)
Starts : (Saturday 2nd January 2010) Ends : (Saturday 27th March 2010)
Half Term - Sunday 28th March 2010 - Friday 9th April

3rd Term (Lasting a 13 week Period)
Starts : (Saturday 10th April 2010) Ends : (Saturday July 3rd 2010)

Please note Saturday July 3rd 2010 marks the End of Year One. Please note actors may be called in at short notice sometimes or may have more days added to their calendar for when we are developing a play for performance.

Junior actors class Time (Sundays). Cost per 2 hour class

2pm - 4pm - Group A (13-16yrs) - GHC 6.50
4pm - 6pm - Group B (16 -18yrs) - GHC 6.50

All students will be allocated a group when offered a place at the Academy.

These drop-in classes are open for anyone to attend, (especially enrolled students on the Two Year course. The subjects that will be studied in these classes will be complimenting the Core Programmes studied in the Two Year Acting Course.

The cost for currently enrolled (Two Year Acting Course) students to attend the drop-in class is GHC 5 per each 3 hour session.

The cost for Non Academy students is GHC 10 per each 3 hour session.
You can attend as many sessions as you want as long as there is space available for you. please get in contact with the Academy to check before-hand.

Payments are accepted solely on a FULL TERM or HALF TERM basis. Terms will last an average of 13 weeks. Please see below for an example of School Fees for a 13 week term.

All Course Tuition Fees MUST be paid by Wednesday 23rd September 2009.

Students may pay full First Year Tuition on acceptance into the Academy before the course begins, but all students MUST pay the First Term (13 WEEKS) Tuition fee on acceptance, by Wednesday 23rd September 2009.

Students unable to complete payment of their full First Term Tuition fee after acceptance into the Academy may choose a deferred payment plan. Please get in touch with the Academy to discuss this before your course commences.
